On Monday morning, a driver caused a severe accident on the U.S. 64 bypass near Rocky Mount by crashing into a woman’s vehicle and a North Carolina deputy’s patrol SUV. The impact pushed the patrol SUV into a second one, both of which were equipped with flashing lights at the time.
