Jefferson City Man Faces Charges for Church Burglary Involvement and Stolen Goods

A Jefferson City resident has been charged with receiving stolen property in relation to a church burglary from July. Jayeric Foreman, 25, is due in Cole County Circuit Court on January 30 at 9 a.m. The crime, which happened on July 29, saw more than $10,000 worth of electronics stolen from the church.

The burglary was facilitated by an unlocked door, as the church was occupied for Bible study. Surveillance footage reportedly shows the suspect, Lyndell Dale, transporting the stolen items to a GMC Yukon driven by Foreman. Although Foreman initially claimed ignorance, he later admitted to driving the vehicle used during the crime when arrested on August 1.
