Chery has recently revealed official images of its Fulwin E06, an innovative five-seater SUV available in both plug-in hybrid (PHEV) and all-electric (EV) models. The Fulwin E06 is expected to be priced between 150,000 and 200,000 yuan ($20,700 – $27,600 USD) and is anticipated to officially launch in 2025. This new addition is part of Chery’s strategic move to position the Fulwin series as a leader in the new energy vehicle market.
Strategic Rebranding and Expansion Plans
In September 2023, Chery rebranded Fulwin to emphasize its focus on new energy vehicles. Over the next two years, Chery plans to introduce 11 models under the Fulwin series, including SUVs, MPVs, and sedans, encompassing PHEV, EREV, and EV options. With nearly 400 stores across 233 cities in China, the Fulwin sales network is poised to support this ambitious expansion.
Design and Technological Features
The Fulwin E06 boasts a sleek design with a closed front fascia, sharp headlights, roof-mounted lidar, semi-hidden door handles, a roof spoiler, and continuous taillights. Debuted at the 2024 Beijing Auto Show, this medium-sized SUV is built on Chery’s Mars Architecture, measuring 4820/1920/1685 mm with a 2920 mm wheelbase. The PHEV version combines a 1.5TGDI hybrid engine with an electric motor, providing a pure electric range of 200 km, while the EV model offers impressive range options of 550 km and 700 km.
Advanced Interior and Intelligent Features
Inside, the Fulwin E06 minimizes the use of physical buttons, featuring a full LCD instrument panel and a 15.6-inch central control screen. The interior is equipped with a double D-shaped steering wheel, wireless charging panel, zero-gravity seat for the co-pilot, a refrigerator, and 256-color ambient lighting. Additionally, the vehicle includes high-speed navigation NOA (Navigate On Autopilot) and city navigation NOA, along with autonomous parking, remote control parking, and memory parking functionalities, enhancing the driving experience with cutting-edge technology.
