Nashville teen arrested in stolen SUV with vehicle theft tools, dozen key fobs

A teen arrested Wednesday night is accused of theft and other charges.

Metro Police say detectives brought 19-year-old Nicholas Dalton into custody after finding him in a stolen Dodge Durango on 61st Avenue North. He was allegedly in possession of a dozen key fobs and vehicle theft tools.

“Inside the backpack he was carrying, a key fob programmer, 12 key fobs, two temporary tags, a window breaker and screwdriver were recovered,” Metro Police wrote.

He’s charged with driving on a suspended license, theft, and possession of fob programming equipment with intent to commit theft.
