Police Release New Surveillance Images in Bend Homicide Investigation

In the ongoing investigation of a recent homicide in Bend, Oregon, police have released surveillance footage showing an individual exiting the victim’s SUV in Klamath Falls. The images, captured on July 15, depict a person getting out of a silver Honda CR-V, which was found abandoned in the same area days before the victim, Evelyn Jeanette Weaver, was discovered deceased in her home. Authorities are urging local residents to review their surveillance footage from July 8 to July 14 for any sightings of the SUV or the individual shown.

Bend Police are particularly interested in any surveillance video from businesses and homes along Highway 97 between Bend and Klamath Falls during the hours of 3:30 p.m. on July 14 to 3:30 a.m. on July 15. The footage could provide crucial information about the movements of the suspect or the SUV. Residents and travelers who may have seen the vehicle or its occupant during this time frame are asked to contact the nonemergency dispatch at 541-693-6911 to aid in the investigation.
