ATV and SUV Collision Sends Four to Hospital in Minnesota

Saturday Afternoon Collision Results in Hospitalization for Four

A collision between a 2016 Polaris Ranger and a 2010 Mazda CX-9 occurred at 12:34 p.m. on Saturday, sending four individuals to the hospital, as reported by the Minnesota State Patrol. The accident happened at the intersection of 330th Street and Highway 24, with the Ranger driven by Christopher Dillon Moyer, 38, from Watkins, and the Mazda driven by Alexis Rose Dahl, 28, from Cold Spring.

Christopher Moyer and two of his passengers, Oliver John Moyer, 6, and Otto Christopher Moyer, 9, all from Watkins, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to St. Cloud Hospital. Sheena Marie Moyer, 37, also a passenger in the Ranger, was taken to the hospital but reported no injuries. All individuals in the Ranger were wearing seat belts, and the children had helmets.

Alexis Dahl, the driver of the Mazda, experienced minor injuries but did not require hospitalization. Her passenger, Iris Maureen Loff, an infant, was unharmed. Both Dahl and Loff were secured with seat belts. Fortunately, alcohol was not a factor in the crash. Emergency services from Watkins Fire, Watkins Ambulance, Meeker County Sheriff’s Office, Eden Valley Police Department, and Mayo Ambulance responded to the scene.
