Two people have been taken to hospital after an SUV crashed into a home in north Etobicoke.

Fire crews were called to the area of Albion Road and Arcot Boulevard just before 5 p.m. Sunday following reports a vehicle had crashed into a home.

Police reported two pedestrians had been struck by the SUV and that one of them was trapped under the vehicle. They have been transported to a nearby hospital, one in life-threatening condition.

Police add that the driver of the SUV and a passenger have also been taken to hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.

KHP IDs man who died after struck by police SUV

One person died in an accident just before 8p.m. Saturday in Wichita, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol.

A 2023 Ford Explorer driven by Officer Ryan C Deville, 29, Wichita, was eastbound at 1332 MacArthur just west of Seneca Street in the left lane.

The SUV struck a pedestrian identified as 71-year-old Jeffrey M. Moss of Wichita who was walking northbound across MacArthur and was struck within the left lane. Moss was pronounced dead at the scene and was transported to the Sedgwick County Regional Forensic Center.

Deville was not injured and properly restrained. The KHP released no additional details.

It’s official — planners submitted a proposal Tuesday for a Buc-ee’s in north St. Lucie County.

The proposal would place the Buc-ee’s at the southeast corner of Indrio Road and Interstate 95.

In an update from the City of Palm Beach Gardens, it says the gunfire was “not an active shooter incident” and does not appear to be random. The scene is secure and at this time the investigation is ongoing.

‘We appreciate the rapid law enforcement and fire response from our local public safety partners,” the city said.

At this time, there have been no reports of anyone injured in connection with the incident.
